Signed by San Francisco in May 2006 to give the offensive unit a greater depth in blocking and receiving.
As a fullback for the Houston Texans, Norris served as backfield mate Domanick Davis' brick wall, helping him record consecutive 1,000-yard season in 2003-2004.
After moving from tight end to the backfield at the University of Kansas, Norris lettered four years for the Jayhawks, rushing for 864 career yards on 199 carries (4.3 avg.) with 10 touchdowns. He added 17 receptions for 87 years and one receiving score.
While playing collegiate football, Moran dedicated himself to his academic studies. He was a member of the Jayhawks Scholar List and graduated with dual degrees in communications studies and crime and deliquency.
